On 5th January, Weiguang Ma, secretary of Shaoxing Municipal Party Committee, Yuechun Sheng, mayor of Shaoxing, Zhigui Tan, chairman of Shaoxing Municipal People’s Congress, Wei Wei, chairman of Shaoxing Municipal Political Consultative Conference, together with their colleagues, visit Hailiang Nonferrous Smart Manufacturing Industrial Park for research and guidance on project construction. Officials from Zhuji including Fenxiang Wang, Hansong Yao, Haoliang Guo, Fangle Xuan, Guofeng Meng and Hongwei Zhu, and senior managers from Hailiang Group involving Yali Feng, Jianguo Cao, Zhangquan Zhu, Weifeng Feng, Limin Pan accompany them during the visit.
General manager Zhangquan Zhu, on behalf of Hailiang Stock, extends warm welcome to Secretary Weiguang Ma and his delegates first, expresses gratitude to Shaoxing Municipal government for supporting and attaching importance to the Park, and introduces in particular the construction process and the intelligent production line of the Park.
A total of 6.128 billion CNY was invested in building the Park with a planned area of 1,000 acres. According to plan, the project will be implemented in three phases: the first phase is predicted to complete “Intelligent energy saving and emission reduction and land relocation and expansion project with an annual output of 400,000 tons of copper and copper alloy rods”; the second phase plans to launch “Construction project with an annual output of 150,000 tons of precision aluminum”; and the third phase is expected to implement “Up/downstream extension project and innovative experimental platform construction project in the field of nonferrous metal processing”. After the completion of these phases, the Park’s production line will reach a leading level globally. Besides, it provides equipment featuring automation, intelligence, low energy consumption, etc., craft that is clean, short in process and intelligent in control, and products advancing in precision, environmental protection and zero defects, which are in line with the development strategy of national nonferrous metal processing industry and the development requirement of low energy consumption.
Secretary Ma and his delegates affirm the construction process of the Park, put forward constructive suggestions on related issues concerning construction, and strongly express support to the project. Nonferrous metal processing mainly based on copper processing is a leading industry with advantages in Zhuji industries. It starts early, develops fast, and has a solid foundation, enjoying a good reputation in the industry. Starting from and focusing on copper processing, Hailiang Group has devoted tremendous efforts in this field. It has now become a benchmark enterprise in the fine management of copper processing industry and a model enterprise in the transformation and upgrading of traditional manufacturing industry. With the profit growing faster than other industries in the same field for years, Hailiang Group made outstanding contributions to the development of nonferrous metal processing industry in Zhuji. Upon the completion of the Park, relevant industries will be driven, and economy will achieve a sustained, rapid and healthy growth.
The municipal officials’ visit to the Park is a great encouragement and inspiration for Hailiang.
