On November 23, Wu Xiaohua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Lingang Section of Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone, led a delegation to visit Hailiang. Cao Jianguo, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hailiang Group and Chairman of Hailiang, accompanied the delegation.
Cao Jianguo warmly welcomed Wu Xiaohua and the delegation, expressing sincere gratitude for the continuous care and support provided by the Lingang Section for the company's business activities. He presented an overview of Hailiang's current production and operational status, global strategic layout, and emphasized the company's industrial layout, market performance, and research and innovation in the new energy sector. Cao Jianguo stated that the Shanghai base, as Hailiang's first cross-provincial base, owes much of its success, from construction to production to prosperous development, to the strong support of the Lingang Section. Looking ahead, Hailiang will closely follow the development pace of the Lingang Section, focusing on high-end smart manufacturing as a strategic development direction. The company aims to accelerate digital transformation, continue efforts in the materials field, and make greater contributions to the advancement of intelligent manufacturing in China.
Wu Xiaohua introduced the industrial layout, research situation, and future plans of the Lingang Section of Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone. He presented Hailiang with a "service package" for key enterprises in Shanghai. He highly praised Hailiang for its high-quality and stable development, as well as its global layout. Wu Xiaohua expressed that Hailiang’s Shanghai base has been a stabilizer for regional economic and social development. He hopes to strengthen the regular communication mechanism between the government and enterprises, providing continuous support in areas such as intelligent manufacturing and international trade, to help the company grow stronger and contribute to the sustained development of the social economy.
